Silvia Askenazi was born in Buenos Aires and happily shares her love for her culture and for tango dance and music. Argentine Tango, though a social dance, can be very complex and intimidating to learn; Silvia breaks it down into small, easily digestible pieces, that even a non-dancer can understand and incorporate. She keeps her classes fun as well as interesting, and her kind and sweet nature keep her students coming back. Her weekly practica provides a great opportunity to practice tango and try out new steps. Her Milonga Porteña is the friendliest milonga in the LA area, very comfortable and cozy, and a great place to meet new dance partners, and enjoy Silvia’s delicious homemade flan.
